The model of my mother board is GIGABYTE GA-7VM400M(F).From the

specification of the RAM part are

1. 2 184-pin DDR sockets
2. Supports DDR333/DDR266/DDR200 DIMM
3. Supports up to 2GB DDR(Max)
4. Supports only 2.5V DDR DIMM

I have already has 256 MB PC-2700 DDR RAM . Today I buy a 1GB PC-

3200 DDR 400 Kingston RAM (The sales tell me i can also use this RAM

but its performance will be the same as the exisitng PC-2700 RAM) .

Besides , I found there is a label on the RAM which states the voltage is

2.6 V . Can my mother board use these 1GB DDR 400 Kingston RAM.

What is the risk and will it affect my computer performance because the

specification of my mother board didn't say Supports DDR 400 RAM and

only support 2.5V DDR DIMM?

Thank you very much!!
