Do i want to run the freq faster or make the timings tighter? For example i have my memory at 200@2-3-3-6 , would it produce more of a performance gain to loosen the timing and try and speed up the freq ? Seems when I try running faster at 2-3-3-6 it doesn’t like that too much.

CPU 9*315
HTT x3
memory orginally DDR400

you really have top just bench and see. youll probably need at least 20-30 mhz boost to have comparable bandwidth between tight and loose timings. ie my system: mem at 250 with tight timings scores on par with 270 with loose timings.

I agree with The_Jizzler. Tighter is better than faster. Wait, that sounds like a life lesson there.

TY, I just spit my coffee all over :) But yes, you are correct on both levels.
