1x..2x..4x..???..I GET 1x..???

I play HLDM.
Will HL use full agp transfer speed if i have it ???
cos im only getting 1x on this set-up:-

Asus A7V266
1200 axia Y
Creative Gf3(Av-in)
256mb-ddr
maxtor hdd
Swiftech + 80x38mm Delta
3com nic
SB-1024live
Lian-Li Server case
Enermax 350w

PowerStrip says its the Bios(its set at 4x)or my system board drvs.
i have tryed the 4.29 that come on CD and also the new universal 4.34.
No diff.
I have also run GTU and set to 4x.........But no diff.
and i have Flashed bios.....no diff.

WHATS THE SCORE ?????????

That's based more on an OS and driver level than on a game level. More than that, I don't know...but the people over in Video and Sound cards might...which is where this now is. :)

Try downling the single 4.05c AGP driver from VIAHardware.com (http://www.viahardware.com) and installing it by itself.

1. Make sure AGP 4x is enab;ed in the BIOS.
2. Install Via 4 in 1 driver, with AGP in Turbo mode.
3. You should be able to set transfer rate to 4x with Powerstrip after that.
