I just thought, I have this old Windows 3.1 box, and as I don't use it too much, I would like to install seti on that, just so when it's on and I'm not doing anything on it, it can work a little ! So is there a version of Seti@home for Windows 3.1 ?
BTW, it's a 486SX 25MHz, I know it will take an eternity just to make 1 WU, but it has to contribute ! :D
It won't run under 3.1. Your best bet is to put 95 on that box. You need at least 16MB ram and 100MB disk space. To be honest it may not be worth the trouble. You're eating electricity to pump out a unit once every 2 to 3 weeks.
I agree. I've got a P133 I setup for crunching until I saw how long it was going to take to finish a WU. I had figured on close to 48 hours which I was willing to allow. It ended up estimating it at 67! Haha [power down-->into the closet]...

My PII 233 is much the same a little bit faster than yor time estimations but it can cope.

I must say I disagree with you guys, even if it does take a week to crunch one, its worth it!
