My Ata 66 @ 100 Why Not? :(

I got a new ata 100 HDD and my mobo is a KT7-RAID and it supports ata 100.

I have plugged it into the IDE PORT And it is only running at ATA 66. WHY IS THIS?

DO i have to use the RAID PORT?

Does IDE support ATA 100?

are u sharing the ata100 device with a ata66 or ata33? if so...it will always function equal to the lowest device on your IDE cable
