I've installed an ultra 120 with a 70CFM delta fan and i'm getting about 35C idle, 45C load in a 78F room. This is at stock speeds and voltage.

Please use the small utility here to get the correct temp readings for your core 2 duo chips: http://www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=137

Please post your temps and what clock speed/voltage you are at. I'm trying to figure out if my temps are okay or if I need to remount. I have no idea what the thermal spec is so I don't know what to expect.

Thanks!

I'll check stock later but with a Big Typhoon(in a HTPC Case) at 3.6Ghz on a E6600 ES Step5 I'm getting 29c idle.

Stating a cpu temp without giving ambient is useless. Ambient temps and core voltage would be nice.

not sure what the stock volts is. One program says the VID is 1.0something, cpu-z shows it at 1.28.

I picked mine up from someone selling at xtremesystems.org
