I am currently trying to get my FSB over the 210 mark but anything over this and my system will not boot. My system spec is in my sig i just wondered if it is ram holding me back? i have a feeling it is...?
Im using 2 x 512MB sticks of Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR PC4000 • 2.5-4-4-8 • UNBUFFERED • NON-ECC • DDR500 • 2.8V • 64Meg x 64
Its running at 2-2-2-5 1T at stock voltage. ive tried it with various latencys but its had no effect on my fsb's limit.
My next thoughts was possibly my motherboards chipset is overheating as there isnt a stock fan on it and i cant get one on it as my 6800 sits directly over the HS!
Ideas? I dont wanna fork out £140 for some OCZ Platinum if it isnt going to make any differance.
