Might be a stupid question!

I have never done any water cooling before but i plan on trying it when i get my new system! (After Christmas)
I just have one question.
Could i use the intercooler out of a VW 2.5TDI engine as a Radiator?
During the summer i replaced it and i have an one lying around!

Would it work?
I figure if i mounted 2X120mm fans on it to get some air flow it would cool it.
It aint that big about, 4"x6".

What do ye think, should i chuck it out or keep it!
