OK, I DO NOT want to go with AMD. I like Intel and would like to build a Conroe based computer. However, I also DO NOT want to go with ATi. I have ASUS' P5N32-SLI Deluxe board right now, but I am unwilling to proceed with the build for stability issues.
Stability issues aside, there is one glaring problem with the NVidia chipset on the P5N. It does not run in SLI mode with XP x64. This is NOT an option for me as I will have the memory well above XP 32's 3 GB limit, and that's not even considering the video card's memory.
So, before I go off and spend another $200 for another MB, what info, if any, can any of you give me on the 590 chipset and it's compatibility with Intel chips and x64?
And I'd really like this to NOT degrade into the tired old AMD vs. Intel debate. This is my choice and I'm choosing Intel. Enough said.
