My 1.2 AXIA Y TBird is just not stable at all when I O/C. I have unlocked the multiplier, but even when I go up to even 1300 the CPU Stab test reads Dangerously unstable. I also get loads of errors whilst running any CPU heavy progs, e.g 3D rendering or Video exporting?

I have a KT7A and a Taisol HS with Delta 25mm on it. any suggestions?

I had to reset my bios to default settings the other day to get it to boot. I did however enable other options in the bios like 4k DRAM and also pushed the memory to Turbo.

I would really like to run faster but just can't!! My 850 TBird O/cd better than this one and that wasn't an AXIA.

eh?

How much memory do you have? And whats the temp of the cpu, finally how are you overclocking (FSB, Multiplier etc...)?

Yeah, that kind of sounds like heat related problem. What do you have your vcore set to?

i have a kt7a. if all you want to do is go to 1300mhz with your 1.2, go to the bios, and instead of changing your settings for CPU speed to "User Defined", instead go to the preset settings and choose 1250. for some reason it sets it to 104x12.5 which equals out to 1300mhz. i had mine set like that for a long time until i learned how to do more intricate overclocking and i never had any problems at all, and i had very good temps (86F idle, 120F load MAX). but that was with my 38cfm fan...depending on the output of your fan you may not get as good temperatures, but overall that shouldn't be too much more of a load on your system. hope that helps

Setting the RAM to TURBO could have been the culprit. That timimg is so agressive that usually only the best quality ram are the one that can run it. When O/Cing you want to change one thing at a time to be able to test for stability & easier trouble shooting of problems.
