its been a while since i built a system and I don't know how much power I need in my power supplies nowadays.. these are all the specs of the computer.. i want to know if a generic 450watt powersupply is enough and if not,, what do you recommend. its not really a gaming system, just a powerful desktop for everyday business use. thanks!!

You're probably going to want to go with at least 500w or more depending on the rails of the psu you get. Antec Smartpowers are very nice but I would say you want a little more than 450watts

Just use the 450w that comes with the Antec Sonata II, it is more than enough for that setup. Even mine shows up at just over 200w draw from the wall outlet.

Agree with Know Nuttin. Your PSU from Antec SONATA II is more than enough for your setup.

I concur, the stock PSU from that case should be plenty.
