Fastest Duron FSB post

Just curious has anyone reached a higher FSB then 166 with a Duron spitfire CPU??

I only know that a T-Bird 1.2 did 189 FSB, didn't hear of a Duron runs a FSB higher than 166 yet.

I had my 700 up to 140.:) That's as far as it would go!

I had my Duron at 170 FSB for awhile but something made a loud popping noise and scared the heck out of me so i backed it down to 166 he he im thinking of trying again and maybe increasing my RAM voltage a notch.

Man my stupid duron won't post over 150 but I don't have a very good chip anyhow so I think 166 would be the limit for most durons.

just try to think about what you are all saying ... you are saying that a duron can get 66mhz higher then original this is 2/3 of speed increasement ...
just wanted to make clear to yall that AMD DURON rulez
its a pitty my mobo wont go higher then 133 (137) but hey its rock stable at the default volt :)

Ok everyone i put some artic silver on my north bridge jumped my RAM voltage up a notch and now my Duron 700 is at 170 FSB running stable so far it feels like it might go more but im not ready to try yet i wanna test this for awhile. this is starting to get me nervous my cpu temp is at 37c which is good :) What do you guys think ? This thing seems like im controlling a rocket :)

jep that OC is going nicely ... interested if it goes past 175 (i think it would be the first time i heard that speed)

well i think this is my limit on this Duron i was hopeing to break a record but it just won't go anymore im surprised it made it this far 170 fsb whooo hooooooo im happy. Maybe it could be my RAM limiting me for more not sure yet. if so this Duron will go higher .

had my 850 at 165 and wont go any higher on my Iwill... and any FSB higher than 150 I lose my Gameport and USB...
