Hello,
I have an Asus MoBo with the rear eSATA port (does not accept standard SATA cables). I now have 2 extra SATA HD's I will be using as external B/U Drives, and I need to find a low-cost eSATA to SATA Cable to allow hooking up these "Bare" HD's (the HD's won't be in any kind of enclosure)...
Any good links? Most of the eSATA-to-SATA cables I have found are stupid expensive ($15-$20 for a single 3' cable)... My MoBo came with 5 SATA cables - but of course no eSATA cables! The HD was only $99, and the cable is $20??? 20% of the cost of the HD??? :eek:
Even a simple adaptor that would allow using a regular SATA cable on the eSATA port would do...
