I have a pentium 3 800EB.
I wanna know what the EB on the end means? Ive heard places that an EB is better for overclocking but ive also heard that an EB is very bad for overclocking.
So what is the EB? is it better to have an EB or not?

thanks

It means that default FSB is 133 MHz. The reason some claim it doesn't overclock as well as the 100 FSB CPUs is because you have to run it at really high FSB to get a good overclock out of it which increases the chances of instability if you don't have excellent cooling and really good components because of the high FSB and PCI bus speeds.
