Hi there guys. Just jumped ship from my XP rig to a 3200 Venice rig. The RAM I'm using is OCZ PC4000 (2x512MB), rated at 2.5-4-4-7 on the sticker on the RAM's heatspreader. I'm trying to get my CPU to 2.6Ghz stable, but I'm pulling my hair out over what timings to run my RAM at. From the sticky here, I'm guessing it has either Hynix D43 or D5 chips under the hood... Heres the timings I have it at now in the BIOS:
Ram Multi 200 1:1
CPC ENABLED
Tcl 2.5
Trcd 04
Tras 10
Trp 04
Trc 08
Trfc 14
Trrd 02
Twr 03
Twtr 02
Trwt 08
Tref Auto
Bank Inter EN
Dynamic Skew Control Auto (Off)
Skew Value 0
Fastest
DRAM Drive Strength 07
DRAM Data Drive Strength 02
Max Async 8ns
Read Preamble 5ns
Idle Cycle 256
Dynamic Counter AUTO
R/W Que Bypass 16X
Bypass MAx 7X
32 Bit Gran DIS
* HTT 260
LDT X4
Cpu Multi X10
PCE-I 100
Vcore 1.550
Vcore 1.425
Vcore Special 113%
LDT V 1.2
Chipset V 1.6
Vdimm 2.8
Dram +0.03 DISABLED
Anyone have any experience with this RAM? I honestly don't know what all these timings mean, as I just copied them from someone on another forum that had a Venice 3200 LBBLE 0521 like me with OCZ PC4000 as well... I figured I'd give it a shot and see how everything goes... Can anyone tell me if I need to tweak some things to make this RAM more stable at 260MHz? Thanks!
