There are a few team members that I know of who run both at the same time. For some "What is SETI?" info, check the SETI at Home site (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu). For some "What is OC.com S@H?" info check out our team page (http://www.ocsetiteam.com).

Hope you decide to come on board. If you have any questions, just let us know.

Is there anything I need to do as far as teams are related?
Like in folding 2 there is a team number... What do I have
to do in seti?

There isn't a team number with the Seti program. What you do is create your own individual account first. They take your email address and they email you a password. Once you've done that you can join a team by following the join team link at the top of a team's stats page - so if you want to join the overclocker's team (which is the only team anybody should join) then you need to go here:
Join [url]www.overclockers.com (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/cgi?cmd=team_join_form&id=94265)

Unlike folding you can jump from one team to another and your work units follow you. You don't have to start over and lose all of your credit. Also there's essentially no time limit on completing units. I think Folding 2 lifted the 3 day limit - but no limit like that exists with Seti.

And finally you can definitely run both programs at the same time, but your time for each will increase of course. You might find it more practical to alternate a few days of each rather than run both clients simulataneously.

Download the screensaver here and create a new account then join oc.com seti team from here

http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/cgi?cmd=team_join_form&id=94265

You will have to request your password, then you will be a member for oc.com!!
