deus ex and windows xp??

has anyone gotten it to work? the game loads fine and i can set my graphics,sound preferences fine. i can get to the start new game screen where you choose your player and set your skills. then when i click start it locks up every time. i have tried different video drivers and sound drivers.

my system specs are, asus a7v, t-bird 1.3gig, 512 meg micron pc-133, inno3d geforce3, sb live5.1 x-gamer,maxtor 20gig ata100 hard drive.

yes. i forgot to mention i have the patch installed.

Hardware looks fine, might wanna try compatibility mode for win98.

thanks, but it turns out it's the cd. a couple of file cannot be copied from the cd to the harddrive.
