XP Pro64 or WMC

Well my new system is coming in soon and I was wondering if I should go with Pro 64 or 32bit windows media center. I really like the look and feel of media center but if Pro 64 is worth it I will upgrade..

x64 in my opinion isn't worth it. Too hard to find drivers and the like. Stick with normal windows, or WMC if you really feel the need to spend the extra cash

Ok well thanks, I didnt think x64 would be all that great, Ill just wait till Vista to get a 64bit OS. My Dell came with WMC and the installation cd so I wont have to pay a dime for it.

won't work, that is OEM software and its tied to the dell hardware, you won't be able to activate it.

I think he can still use the key if he obtains the installation discs. I did the same for 98SE on my old Gateway.

no he can't, new mobo, so the key won't activate. Its in the EULA and discussed in the forums

It has worked for me before on windows home...its not a Dell CD its the CD from microsoft. Well is there any other way I can get this to work?

it was a recent change to the EULA. Do a search on the forums. its not gonna work
