But I suppose it'll be the other way round with Conroe and AM2 being the only Chips soon to be sold. 939 is getting phased I think and INTEL are stopping there Pentium D line soon because of Conroe.

I think what will happen is DDR3 will be out before DDR2 goes full steam ahead and will get squashed. DDR3 should be out late next year, I for one am waiting till that time to do any major upgrade. So in essence I will skip DDR2 all together.

well with how many people own non-DDR2 boards, AMD and older gen p4's there isn't really a big demand in those computers.
