1 gig athlon borderline!!

I have a 1gig 200fsb athlon... no special stepping - one of the first 1giggers

I can get her to post at 300 but I can't keep her there for long... any tricks to keep her stable? or am I maxed out at 1.243Gig??

What are your computers specs? mem, motherboard?
what are you settings now FSB, multiplier?
If you can, increase your Vcore a little bit, but watch out the temps. Its best to keep under 50C° at full load.

lol i if you can get it stable @ 1243 that means that you almost won 1/4 of speed. thats nice
but i dont know if you want to go higher on your fsb or just cpu speed
if you want to go higher on fsb (faster) then i suggest you down the multiplier and up the fsb ... maybe then it ll get stable
also try to up the vcore a bit (like the coolest said: watch those temps)
if you give us some specs we can maybe help you a bit more
