Pop up IE annoying

Is there any way that I can remove the auto launch whener I connect to internet... and I'm using adsl. Liek whenever I conect the IE automatically pops up.. It' really annoying!

Do you want to use another browser instead?

Or just have no browser appear, so you can launch it when you want?



I use Opera, IE6 and Netscape 6 as well. IE6 is my default, but when I installed both the other browsers, they gave me the option of making them the default browser.

Otherwise I think it's Tools > Internet Options > Programs > uncheck the tick box that makes IE the default browser.....

See your ADSL ISP's software for a setting to launch default browser upon connecting to the internet.
