Hello everyone.... I have a question regarding an upgrade of a SYS (CPU,VC)..
I have an Duron900@1053. 128mb ram, TNT2Vanta32mb......
I know wonder if/what I should upgrade? Should I upgrade the CPU (to an Athlon XP 1600+) or the VGA card (to A ASUS V7700 GeForce2Pro 64DDR...)???
So plz answer me i need help badly!

Hi, First you have to make sure that Asus A7V133 motherboard of yours is a revision 1.05. or higher, otherwise an Athlon XP will not work correctly. I would go with a video card upgrade between the two, because you will get smoother game play and improved 3D graphics. Real performance you can use and feel. Popping in an Athlon XP won't help with 3d program or games much but a GPU in a grahpics card will. What you really need is another 128MB PC133 SDRAM, total 256MB.

jep got to agree with nowis
you got to increase your memory ... you will see the difference
and if you have some money left update the 3d card
btw how did you OC that duron (fsb and multiplier?) fan? because thats a nice OC (my duron 750 maxed out at ... 850-900 pff
Go for more ram, just 256mb more :D , then the vid card, the cpu would be the last thing since 1Ghz is quite fast for now.
