I'm going to be doing a few modifications to my cases, and want to try messing around with various plastics (going to replace the front bezels on all my rackmount gear with something more ... stylish). However, there doesn't seem to be very many places around to get a range of stuff from. Anyone know of any good places?

I'm mainly looking for clear plexiglass (yes, I know what I'm doing looking for this) and polycarbonate, ideally around Canberra so I can pick it up :)

Check your local phone book for plastics shops and sign making shops. You might be able to find one that sells their offcuts cheaply.
And you'll want to stick with polycarbonate because it's MUCH easier to machine.

Cool, thanks. Somehow missed that thread when I was browsing through. The plexi is for molding curvy stuff on the front plates (which I've done a bit of before, and already worked my way though pretty much the entire "How to make a mess with molten plastic" book :) ).

Ah, then acrylic will be better for heatwarping.
