I want to set up my Linux F@H computer to also be a file server for my two Windows 2000 boxes. What is the easiest way to do this, I'll be using it for mp3's and backup.

Just install Samba on what ever flavor of linux you pick. It's pretty easy to set up, and Gnamba is a Gnome config tool which makes it even easier.
