Nooooooooo!!!!! Thing wont boot!!!!!

we just were troubleshooting my dads BD133U and Tualatin Celly with ram and video card, and it wont boot!!!! just power up and no beeps, no sound, anything.......could the cu be bad? or he motherboard....?

have you tried clearing the cmos.

yup, weve also taken out the battery and put it back in to no avail, it does however light up the keyboard, and the floppy drive, nothing morre...

When you turn on the power do the fans turn on then off really quickly or does it just set there and do nothing.

have you checked up on RAM? try removing and reinserting it.
i dont know what is causing the problem but this tipically happens when the RAM isnt sitting properly.
u can try also cleaning the contacts on the stick with a rubber before reinserting it.

we went tothe local computer store and tehy tested iut for us with a different cpu and the 1.2 Celly is shot :mad:
