Some of you might remember my vapo-li line of product which puts single stage in lian-li v2000 :)
I've decided take a stab at different segment of market of people who might not be interested in V2000 case or already have good case and don't want the extra cost associated with V2000 case.
First of it's kind for customer build... with optional color...

This is as barebone model as it gets with no controller no temp read out, just 1 k-type probe attached so customer with good thermometer can read temperature of evaporator.

Casing is made out of heavy duty 16 gauge steel to handle any potential shipping damage without hitch than powder coated. Typical color supplied is glossy black.. yes I have one bencher SS made in this case with black :P)

Looking good Jinu

As you already knew I was wondering when you would build a simple unit :D

Good Luck :bday:

And to everyone else.. I'm pretty sure were suppose to ask prices via. PM ;)
Or wait for one to show up in the classies :p

You guys have to send him a PM to ask him the price. It is generally a rule that pricing is never released in public forums like this.

Gorgeous unit Jinu, I always enjoy looking at your ultra-clean layout's. I was wondering when we would start seeing conventional units from you :D.

Note: Please do NOT conduct any transactions via PM on these forums.

jinu117: if you are offering these units for sale please start a thread in the classifieds section offering them.

You know what... I've been having lot of people asking me for dual cpu ss. And honestly, would you guys still want one if it cools worse than vapo LS and could have uneven temperature between 2 cpu? Only way I can see dual cooling as good as vapo LS would be to use pretty decent sized compressor which tend to get too loud for my taste :)

Thats pretty trick!!

Nice work Jin :)

I know absolutely nothing about any cooling other than air, but that is sweet!

The black one. This one... is bit different :)
http://vapoli.com/image/Forum/IMG_8799.JPG
NF11FX :) Bit more powerful, bit louder (vapochill like), bit more power consuming...
Also, it has braided suction line... and....
http://vapoli.com/image/Forum/IMG_8809.JPG
LOOONG suction line. OPB asked for it so he gets it. Flex part of suction is about 6ft... looong...
http://vapoli.com/image/Forum/IMG_8811.JPG
As I said... black powder coating is my staple stock one. I like it :)
http://vapoli.com/image/Forum/IMG_8813.JPG
The wires extending are #1. Zalman Fan mate controller to speed control fans.
#2. K-type probe... I think it was about 8ft-9ft long since suction was so long :)
http://vapoli.com/image/Forum/IMG_8818.JPG
Hmmm.... one more change... or at least trying... let's see how it works from OPB's mouth on new set of nut and bolt.
Bit costly way of doing things but if it works great... something to consider.
How is temp? about 3-5c colder than NF9FX in general. Noise... about vapo LS.

is there anything you could compare the noise of these compressor too?

i'm seriously thinking of picking one up and one thing that's holding me back is the noise.

also, how is it hooked up? does it start and shutdown with the computer?

and do you need an lcd control to actually turn it on and monitor? or can you just have it hooked to start/shutdown and that's it?

thanks jinu.

The danfloss compressors make less noise then the fans running on the condensor :p

Serious, IMHO they are overkill for quiet. hear that jinu.. thats my oppinon (I'd want something that was at least as loud as the fans :p doubt a copland would pull that off though)

His value units just have a swich to turn them on and a K-probe that you can hook up your Fluke (or whatever) up to monitor temps (so you know when its safe to boot up your too overclocked for anything less then phase rig :p , the higher line of k-foster controllers come with windows software to controll the unit (relays and such :) ).

baa.. sorry Ive just been reading about this too long..

LOL

thats why we nooblets post never-ending must-know-everything questions.

so that we satisfy the never-ending must-know-everything enquisitive nature of some of the more informed members.

as for the temp sensor i consider it better to have a hardware readout as opposed to software. More reliable. and one less thing to boot on your os when you want to run whatever.

ok. so they are quiet.

thanks.

The software for the controller just reads the output from serial from the controller, there value line of controllers dont have the software, or output just a temperature readout and some delays so your up and running before your rig will power on and you dont cycle the unit too fast.

they have a long thread over at XS about the controllers if your intrested you can look over here..
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=49823

And of course just a swich with your fluke (or similar) is defianatly an option :)

btw.. I was refering to the NF9FX being silly quiet.

Uhmmm 80cfm 120mm fan will pretty much drown out the compressor noise :P
As for start and shut down with the computer, you will need LCD controller for automated proceudre on that :) I guess LCD controll is safer for few things... :)
#1. It gets down to temperature and if it doesn't see computer is on shuts off. Otherwise, motherboard will get cold, start sweating and you might have condensation.
#2. If it gets too hot, it shuts down computer. This way it prevents overheated cpu getting killed situation.
#3. I guess you get the cool looking blue LCD :P
And thanks for your comment Johnsally :) Few things are heading out your way tomorrow :)
