I am building a low budget server... i already have all the parts and spent about $40 on modding the case. i was thinking about either working with the Enermax 350watt psu that I have laying around or buying a ultra xconnect... would i be better off with the one i have. this computer will have lowend radeon that all onboard stuff (nic and audio), two hdd, and a cd burner

The Enermax Liberty 400W is a pretty good psu.

But otherwise the 350W could also do the job.

Ultra is up and down...I had a 400w x-connect from them that worked wonderfully. Then I ordered a 500w, came doa. Stuck with them, got a 550w x2-connect and its amazing. I guess my 500w was just a singled-out case of doa, but I have no idea. I'm very happy with the two psu's that work.

I'm very happy with my Enermax Liberty 500W, and my Enermax Noisetaker before that. I've heard mixed things about Ultra, but hey, who knows?

Agreed 100%

If you get an Ultra you will be sacrificing quality compared to the Enermax 350.

that is what i figured. i think i will stick with the enermax and just unsolder the unneeded wires
