hooking up turntable to SB Live! 5.1

I have a large collection of LP's, and I would like to copy them to my computer so I can put them on CD's, can I get stereo input on my SB Live! 5.1 w/o a Live Drive?

I have my turntable hooked up to my SB Live! Value.

Its Turntable->Amp/reciever->Line-in on Live!

I have a stereo mini-plug into my Yamaha soundcard (input) connected to my turntable. I record using TDK Digital MixMaster, then edit/burn with Nero 5.5.

You dont use an amp or a reciever? Isn't it super quiet?

The output of the soundcard is going to powered Yamaha's, with a SUB. 45 watts total, does the job.
