Any one had any experience with this Power supply.

ThermalTake - Toughpower 750W ?

It seems to have good effeciency good ampage.

I need it to power a Crossfire rig.

e6600, 1900xt *2, OCZ GX ram 6400, 2 harddrives, 1 optical drive, sound card, and like 10 fans.

Everything OC'd to max.

Im somewhat limited being in AUS to the availability of certain hardware, but the toughpower is available and relatively good price.

Can someone help me out i wouldn't want to buy a crappy PSU.

Im upgrading from my ocz 520 powerstream. Don't think it will handle CF.

Looks like a good PSU. http://www.legitreviews.com/article/348/14/

The 550 failed horribly, but the 750 got an Honorable mention for it's "stability, efficiency, and future use!" Future use = CF goodness

I would suggest the Silverstone ST75ZF instead - a far better unit, though not as cheap. Otherwise, the Thermaltake will do if one is prepared to accept the possibility of a short lifespan thanks to the continuing reliance by Channel Well to use questionable capacitors and poor cooling in their units.

Though I've heard some of their units are now addressing this issue, I'm reluctant to recommend them for now.

I also noticed it only had 30A on the 3.3 volt rail

recon that will be enough when overclocking, i know the OCZ's have 36 - 38A on that rail and iv never ever had an issue with anything from OCZ

If only an Aussie retailer stocked the dam OCZ GameXstream 700W i buy it in a second. 38A on 3.3 rail

but i may have to settle for the toughy, also wolf, the TT has the highest lifecycle rating of almost any high performance PSU, so im probably not to worried about the lifespan if its rated so high :) mor eworried about performance/stability for Overclocking.

let em know your thoughts.

The 3.3v and 5v ratings aren't worth worrying about... with a modern rig, you'd be hard pressed to get either above 15A.
