Everything is connected wrong? Maybe that's your problem

"Everything is connected wrong"?okay. . .check the documentation/instructions that came w/ it. if you got oem or for some reason dont have any manual of any kind go the hauppauge's website. i just (like 5 min ago) bid on one, hauppauge wintv right? only at 50 bucks though, hehehe. . .
Although I haven't got a haupauge card, I do have both a Voodoo and an ATI card with TV tuners. Go into the properties for the tuner and make sure that you have the source for your audio set correctly, for instance, on my Voodoo it is connected to the auxiliary and on my ATI it's on the line in.
I hope it's this simple.
Good Luck!

well i uninstall and reinstalled it 17 TIMES yesterday! On the 16th time the sound came in so i happily quit tha program and shutdown my computer. Later when i tuyrned it on the sound didn't work again and i was so p*ssed that i try reinstalling it one more time and it still didn't work. I went through the whole process, including reinstalling the card and everything. The mute button isin't on and the volume is up. Why would it wok and when i turned it off then on just stop working?
Try different speakers..
See if the wire from your speakers to the sound card is ok..
Check if your sound card is good..
If you run Mp3's does it work?
Are you using one of the Sound Blaster Live! series?

What OS are you running? I have a Phoebe Tuner card. The drivers that came with the card were not compatable with Windows 2000, I had to get a different version from the webpage.
