I'am just wondering how do u guys get those temp...
I mean, with my t-brd, 1.2g. @1.2, I get 55C when under load... this is to high...
and how can u manage to lower your temp?
I mean, I got 2 hd, 1 lan card, 1 sond card, video, hollywood magic card.... so I dont have any place for air flow, since my 2hd, CD rom, CD burner, DVD player need power, I have to much wire in this case...
what is your suggestion...
BTW, I won let the side open, I go a Delta and It's TOO noisy...
thanks

What's your case temp? if it;s high then you need better case airflow, if not then you need a better hsf. Airflow can be increased even if you have like 4 HDs and CD, DVD etc. so that's not a problem.

I dont have any case temp sensor, but bord temp are showing 31C
what I was meaning by airflow is that I got LOTS of cable in the way, (ex: just for adding memory I have to unplug everyting..) they are interfering with the airflow
I got a intake fan in the front bottom, 2 exaust in the back
1 exaust in the back, just where the CPU is..... ( I make a hole right here)
the other one is just on the top of my PSU
I got an enermax psu with the 2 fans...

try to bundle the cables with tie straps and get some rounded IDE wires and a rounded floppy wire. that will help with air flow and then you might have room for things.:burn:

Depending on your case, you will probably have a slot in the bottom front where you can place an intake fan. But a mobo temp of 31C doesnt really sound that bad. Mine is usually around 25C and I have excellent case cooling, so I'm not sure you will notice cpu temps much cooler.

is rounded ide cable came in ata100
and are they with master/slave configuration?
I got a full tower, they need to be long too...
Finaly, is a temp of 55C under load for a t-bird 1.2 is bad ??

rounded cables are just normal ATA100 cables , but instead of 80 wires in a flat ribbon, they are bundled.
They do come in different lengths, and will have master/slave plugs on them.
55C is a tad high. Anything under 50 is considered normal (but how low can you go?)

before I make the hole in the back, I was at 65-70C under load.... but I want to go below 50C
