Fixed the links. I really dont like G.Skill.... had issues with them in the past.

yeah I'd go G.Skill too I haven't used the DDR2...but I had a set of the DDR HZ's and loved them....

But I guess if you are against G.Skill then I'd say go for the platinums. if overclocking the lower timings will probably let you get a little higher in frequency. And if not overclocking, then the lower timings will certainly increase performance a bit.

For the money you would have spent on those, I really think the G.Skills would serve you better. It really is nice ram.

What about something a bit more costly?

wait, so you want to spend MORE money?

Whatever flaots your boat. I'm not sure which chips those use, so can't comment on their overclocking. They offer slightly better timings though, but that wont matter much if your going conroe. You really want bandwidth. Maybe someone else has experience overclocking those.

Im looking for what chips they use now. :O there isnt much on them. I think they are pretty new.

I cant find anything on the Mushkin :(

And about spending money. Im not getting the $400 gfx card i was, im putting another $100 into ram... So i have $300-350 to spend on it.... i would rather not go over 300 tho.

Now its down to the mushkin, the G.Skill and the Team Xtreem. Im just waiting till i find out what chip is in the Mushkin sticks.

I'd personally go for either the mushkin or G.Skill...both are great...
From the reviews, it looks like the Mushkin will do lower timings at higher speeds, so I suppose those would be the better way to go.

And to shell: Looking at the 3 reviews, only 1 was lucky enough to get over 1Ghz, so I wouldn't bank on them doing 1Ghz...but you could get lucky.
