Vertical+horizontal FANS=BETTA?

i read the threads about stacking fans.

i was wondering if u had a fan blowing horizontally on the HS
when the other regular fan was blowing ontop of the HS.
If i t would make a temperature decrease.?
ie put the fan on the side of the HS

If you did that, there would be eddy currents of air in the heatsink. Far better to have more air going down into the heatsink from above, rather than disturbing the airflow.

Try a larger capacity heatsink fan, and have a case fan blowing directly onto that as well.......
