Hey everybody,

I've been considering repainting my old computer case, which is an Alienware Predator. That's where some trouble comes in.
I found a link on here aways back (Click Here (http://case-mods.linear1.org/case-mod-101-how-to-paint-your-computer-case-part-1/)) and finally found the time to try it. The thing is, in the tutorial he's painting a completely flat surface, and it's obvious that would be a lot easier than painting the curves, lines, and indents on this:

Think I should practice on some flat cases before moving onto this, or is it not that big of a deal? Take note that taking the exterior off the case isn't much of a problem.

Im spray painting my case, and Im at the part where Im polishing it up. My side panels are an a$$ to paint. you have to be so careful in sanding them, and because of this I never used a sanding block. My side panels have vents a logo beveled into the side. There were times where I ripped of the paint because of sanding it at the vents. And now I have a problem of cleaning those vents. So if you do plan to spray paint something like that I have to be a real professional.

I also happen to be painting my case, but your particular case migth prove a bit difficult since it has more curves. Practice, practice..... is anice case you don't want to ruin it. I've done some research too and it seem that you can only do so much sanding before the material becomes useless so take that into consideration. Good luck with the modding
