View Full Version : Looking for good deals on 7200RPM laptop hard drives.
I dont like posted wanted stuff here but does anyone know of a good site that has 7200rpm 40gb or better ata laptop hard drives?
I found a few sites but can seem to find one in the 60-80 dollar range.

I found a 60gb from zzf for 99 bux. But was wanting to keep it around 60-80.

dont know if you have a fry's electronics near you, but from time to time, they have some pretty sick 160GB hard drive deals.

I get 20 ~ 25mpg with my car...even then its still a bit of gas, i like to drive though
I do also but sence it is the end of summer round trip will end up being 3-4 hour's. 75n these day's has been backed up pertty much everyday.
WeLp, any findings yet? I am now in the market for a 7200rpm lappy drive.
best thing I found was a 60 giger @ ZZF other then a few p.m.'s :D

I think its hard to find lappy 7200rpm hdd for 80 bucks. The cheapest i found was @ the egg for 94 + 5 bucks shipping. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2010150380+1035907889+1035507776&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=380)
thats the same as the link I posted 99 bux I think :D

yeah pretty much, but newegg doesnt charge tax in georgia, unlike cali. So you could save $1 :beer: as they say, a penny saved, a penny earned! :D
I think I will follow in krag's foot steps:D
