Okay so I'm planning out my WC setup, and since I dont have all the components it makes this hard to test. Need some help from some experts here!

Okay my I'm positioning my setup to see where I want everything, and I'm running into a problem. My res will only fit at the bottom of my case next to my pump, so I will have both my CPU block and my Rad above the level of where i'm filling the loop. Will gravity prevent me from filling the system without spilling everywhere, or will the fact that the pump is pushing and pulling water in at the same rate negatve the gravity and no leakage occurs? The block/rad will only be about 1 foot above the res.

This is the res - http://dangerdenstore.com/product.php?productid=55&cat=28&page=1

You can put the rez anywhere ( as long as it's right before the pump intake, natch) and all you'll be losing is the passive rise of air bubbles to the top of the loop.
Bleeding may take a bit longer but your layout will work.

As long as you have a closed loop, with the res fill hole being the only opening, the water will not all rush out.

Try to keep both the inlet and the outlet of the reservior below the water level in the reservior, that way the tubes will stay full of water when you shut off, and there won't be any overflow when you shut it down.

Filling might get a bit tricky, enough so that you might have to hold your reservior higher while you're filling the loop, or at least starting with a good supply of coolant so you continuously fill while your pump is draining the res for the first fill up.

After that, no worries.
