Need some clarification on this, for ram to run in dual channel you would install it in 1 & 3 dimm's or 2 & 4 for 2 sticks or for 4 sticks its 1,2,3 & 4 now this is pretty standard so thats not my question, my question however is if im installing 4 dual channel stick so one per dimm does it matter how they are installed?

In other words since 4 sticks is x2 dual channel kits would I have to follow same techique as in kit 1 = slot 1 and 3 , kit 2 = slot 2 and 4, or it doesnt really matter and i can go slot 1 and 2 for kit1 and slot 3 and 4 for kit 2?

If they are all the same, it doesn't matter. If kit 1 & 2 are different then follow the slot 1 &3 = kit 1 slot 2 &4 = kit 2
