win95/win2k pro - Dual Boot ?

I just got Windows 2000 pro, I installed it (clean install) and it kept windows 95 also, how do I remove windows 95 now? I have a 12 Gig Quantum BigFoot, so I try and save space.

Since it is a fairly new install..

I suggest you backup everything and format both drives so..

It'll run like a charm.

if you have 2 partitions : 1 for win95 and another for win 2k

do the following

if your C drive is w2k................................and D DRIVE IS WIN95

right click d: and choose quick format and it will erase win95

after you do that, edit your BOOT.INI in w2k...............and DELETE the line says 95...........save it (uncheck the read-only first)

BINGO..........YOU ARE DONE
