... Just wondering since I have Windows XP for 2 weeks now .. But
Whats the recommended time for a format before the registry gets huge!
Is it 5-6 Months?

Depends on what you're doing with the PC, whether you're installing/removing lots of stuff frequently. Otherwise the registry shouldn't change by any great degree.
Well, you can download registry cleaners if you want instead of a format. Usually, my mom formats the HD after it gets about 80-90% full of stuff.

Yea .. I got RegCleaner haven't used it yet..
do it as a pleasure. :D
i strongly beleive on fresh installation of windows as a much more secure, reliable and sometimes also fast setup. if youd like to do it before the recommended time be sure it will be all that better. there is no recommended time in fact; this will highly depend on the use of the OS: when u think you have tested too many drivers different versions and played a lot with all the settings u could give your computer a fresh installation with everything you learned doing all the tests - i do that.

I figured but...
After 1000x formats... I'm kind of getting tired of reinstalling all my programs heh.
By the way I just went through like 5 nvidia drivers.. :p

if you don't install a lot of softwares in your computer......in short period of time......the registry size won't get big.................
you don't format your computer because of registry size...........
