If you are not using a caching program currently then you would lose just the one unit. I'm not sure if it can be transferred to the new setup in some way. Guys/Gals?

If I remember correctly, when I went to the CLC combo it picked up from where the GUI left off. I just installed everything in the same directory and moved out the GUI executable. Don't hold me to this, but I think that's how it happened.

If it's a big concern, you could always wait until the GUI is done with the current WU and switch over before it's done very much to the new unit.

I'm not sure about changing from gui to clc but it should work (worst case you lose 1 wu).

I have been dual-booting 1 pc win9x/Win2K and both are using the same dir for seti- same wu, etc.

I also have reconfigured systems without losing any work- copy the whole dir to another pc on the network, install os, and copy back- work continues as though it had never stopped.

Definately. Which is why we try to push that here. :)
