CS cant authenticate with WON server!!

Does anyone know why i can't authenticate with WON server...it just happened this morning. I didn't do anything.

And i had to reinstall HL and CS because it says the HL.exe file has been modified...and then this happens...I cant authenticate with WON...but i can still go into the update games...

that happened to me b4 i did this
go in the half-life/valve folder
open woncomm.lst in wordpad
and change the all 3 east to west and west to east

As far as I know WON is a 3rd party auth for CD-Keys. Recheck yo key, and... do the thing above.

yah sure no one else got ahold of your cd key???
sure no one else has got on your comp and used some form of crack?

even if somone got your key, the only way tey would take it out is if they know, and considering they are automated serers checking database, thats prolly not the case.

Did you run the full upgrade patch?
I had the same thing before and had to reinstall the game and run both full patches. then all was ok.

Make sure that you have the correct patches as well retail or d/l... I know you may have already tried these but u got nothing to loose :cool:
