I have an asus p4s800d-x motherboard. I have some bh5 memory chips coming for it so more voltage is in order. I've been searching and asking around for vdimm mods for this board. I think I can run 3.3v from the atx power connector to the memory. Will that work and how do I determine where to bring it? I'm a noob to voltmodding, this will be my first and I'm excited to jump in. I've read a few how to's and feel fairly confident I can pull it off once I determine the correct mod.
People have directed me to mods for other boards, which does me little good when my board is different.:bang head
Will it work to take the 3.3v to the memory or is there another way?
Please help. Thanks
