anyone have any info on these 2 cards? im about 90% into buying a gf3 ti200, but those 2 above seem to be the best of all the ones i can find. any advice on the 2 cards, or what i should buy?

If you asked me i would buy a radeon 8500, but if you are set on getting a Ti200 then look into Best Buy apparently they are selling a Ti200 for 99$.....even if its a PNY thats a really good deal...

pny is.... well im not allowed to say what i think since this site is g rated.. but anything Very high quailty that is under 100 bucks at bestbuy, isnt a good buy to me. just because that card is 80 bucks cheaper then the 2 i was looking at doesnt mean id go for it. i want the best i can get. and what i hear,. the ti200's will oc to ti500 speeds. so im looking for the best ti200 i can get. and i will never get nething other then geforce.

hmm, looks like youre not as cheap as i am :beer: , i would probably go with the Gainward one because it will overclock much farther, andit looks just plain cool.....i have heard things about the 2D quality though, but the things ive heard are conflicting.....also i would go with the MSI because oif the monster heatsink over the Visiontek...

u just dont understand what im asking for. heatsinks dont matter to me. i want the card that best performs. im gonna buy a crystal orb, and i allready have tin ramsinks im gonna use. i just want the best card.
can anyone else help me?

visiontek comes with a heatsink/fan on the gpu plus heatsinks over all the ram
:D I love mine
it looks awesome
btw it will almost oc as far as a ti500

the performance should be abou the same for both cards, with a difference of about 1-3 fps in gmaes, except with the gainward which has crazy overclockability because of the 4.0ns ram....

99 dollars for a g3 that will do 500 like speeds 220 and memory up to 480!
p4 2.0 for a 7900 3d2001 and that ain't even with an overclock

Best Buy, i think its a thanksgiving sale, for 99$ the visiontek obliterates the MSI :).....i though it musta been the PNY for that price, but guess i was wrong...

Look buy the hercules 3d prophet3 ti200 (overclockers.co.uk have a good deal) and it is guarrenteed to go to 500mhz mem!!! (has upgraded cooling on it) from its stick of 400, ASK AXIA he got his (with stock cooling) to 233 from 175 core and 533 from 400 mem, and with BETTER cooling you could get much higher! And for £200...
Yet for that you could buy a 8500, there new drivers are very quick and the quality is gorgeus and they will oc easily to 300/600...

forget that.. id rather pay n extra 70 bucks to have it shipped to my house. thats how lazy i am.. plus going to best buy would mean, leaving my computer. i cant do that ;)
