Well for now I am using a MSI RX1600 until I get my nvidia SLI setup. I am having some problem with the card; whenever I first boot up windows, the screen flickers a little, like a bunch of skinny black bars flash real quick. Also, when I open up Catalyst CC, it does the same thing. I figure this is a driver issure, but maybe its just a bad card ( I reall dont care, it was free). Anyways, I have driver version 8.183.0.0 from ATI. Should I get a driver upgrade or what?
You can try a driver upgrade, it's easy enough. Does it happen when you change resolutions too?

Yea,same thing happens when I change revolutions, I have the drivers updated already but I still get the problem. Oh well, another week or so and it will in the classis.
I get the same thing, it's nothing to be worried about.

I am running 8.2.0.0 date 12/14.05. I used MSI Live update to get the latest driver but idk. I know its nothing to be worried about, but it anoyys the hell out of me, also; right after the Windows load screen goes away and the login screen come up, the card like shuts on for a second because my monitor light turns orange, it also does the same thing right after logging in. Ahh, I want to get my new card...
weird driver version...
official versions are listed like this:
6.14.10.6626
you should probably download the latest drivers from www.ati.com instead of from windows Live

Never use the cards drivers off there website, unless the official ones directly from ATI don't work.

Yeah I figured that out, I dont know if this had anythig to do with the problem, But the drivers I had before werent digitally signed and didnt pass the windows logo test.
