MAJOR Installation Problems

every time my friend installs any thing, it crashes.
shes using XP Home Edition, just recently installed SP2
on a k7 AMD XP2800+ bartoon, 1.25GB ram,

for example. she would install FEAR and CoD2 and installation would crash
Office XP too

im still trying to get a grasp of the situation on remote connection...
