View Full Version : Mem voltage mod for ak31
Is there such thing as a mem voltage mod for ak31 rev. 3.1?
The max you can do in bios is 2.7V....
btw, is there a bios for ak31 rev 3.1 that enable you to set the fsb to more than 166?
I think 166fsb is too little...

A memory voltage mod would be highly impractical, seeing as there's no way to know what your voltage actually is, other than what the BIOS sets it to. You'd need to rig up some kind of multimeter setup to be safe. The reason modding the vcore for a CPU works is because we can tell what it's being set to, through MBM or the like.

Ok, thanks.
btw, can we swear in this forum?

Hey Luie what would your cpu speed equate to? 1900+ etc?
What was its default?
The default of the CPU is 1600+ (1.4Ghz).
Now it is 2000+ (1.743Ghz)
Cool, eh?
Stepping is AKGKA Y!
:D :D :D
And the Windows XP boot up time is always less than 20 sec!!!
(usually 18sec)
And the shut down time is less than 5 sec!!!
(usually 4 sec)
Now, I am searching for a cool game to play on my cool pc.
