Is it possible to use the fan controller as an external device with the P180B? The external 3,5" will hold a floppy drive.
To "complify" (opposite to simplify): Are the cords long enough to reach outside the case with everything connected, and are there the kind of holes in the P180B that I would need in order to do this (with the front door shut). The fan is going to be in the upper/front intake slot.
Here's some possible solutions that I need confirmed if they would work or not:
- Remove a PCI bracket(?)/"outside-cover" and pull it through there.
Possible problems: The cord is too short.
- Get a 5,25" -> 3,5" external converter (does one come with the P180B?)
Possible problems: The door won't shut with the Fan controller in place. The converter won't fit with the P180B.
Hehe... The more time I spend typing this up, the more I come to realize that this is a pretty stupid problem :D
P.S. is 14,99€ a good price for the FM121 shipped?
