Well considering how bad the AB9 bios is I am pretty happy with this for now, I have my chip on Water and I have seen a high of 38* under load and 2.9Ghz seems to be more than enough power to play with untill Abit gets a better bios out to us.

Evilsizer I have the chip at 1066 Strap and the memory at 800, timings are set to auto, memory is at 2.1v.
I am going to play with the bios a little more and see if I can get a little more out of it, the chip seems to want more but I know little to nothing about this board and the bios settings, I was on a 478/agp system when I upgraded, so I have a lot of learning to do.

Ok it seems that the voltages are not holding for anything other than the Memory, this will be on hold untill Abit gets a better bios out I guess.

did you use oc from bios and boot into windows at that speed? with bios 11 i could not boot into windows with a fsb of 275 or higher. with bios 13 i boot into windows with a 300fsb.

Yes I set the FSB in the bios and then booted.

then how are you setting the bios. no matter what settings i try it does not boot past 300fsb for me. even with the pci-e speed at 100-106mhz.

I will go through my bios tomorrw and make a list of everything I have set, I dont remember the names of all the settings off the top of my head.
In a nutshell I disable all of the CPU settings, throttle, C1 etc etc, set the core voltage to 1.5v, memory 2.1, bump the chipset voltages up .1v, 1066 strap, 800 Memory and pretty much leave everything else on auto, I will have to look at it to get everything exact for you.
