Well as not many peeps mod the Glaciator with a new fan or anyting due to its all in one construction, i ordered a 47cfm and 36.5db 80mm fan and a 60mm to 80mm adaptor to use on it, so once i get the top part off (dremel) ill go to work, and let yall know of the change in temps if any


I hope to drop 5 c all around- load and idle- i mean the normal 60mm is 29cfm@36db, so imj getting 18more cfm at only 0.5 more db which is unnoticeable, well ill let yall know

just make sure you have a good fan adaptor, some are really carp but some are great

sorry that should say crap, i dont know why some fan adaptors are bad but it is proably something to do with air flow direction and the ammount of air excaping

well its installed now nad i am happy, i have lower temps at more volts. Im at 38 c idle at 1530 mhz before was 41c idle, adn it is quieter also, plus more cfm
