Hi everyone!
I have a GeForce2 Ti (250/400) overclocked to 275/500, is it a good overclock? It runs stable, even after playing 3 or 4 hours of Max Payne, no image problems, nothing. In 3DMark2001, i had a 20% increase at 4,300 (1024X768X32). Is 4,300 good? I have an Athlon XP 1700@1900 (1573MHz, i know a few MHz less than the real 1900+ but it's how it's appears) with 512MB ram ECC DDR from curcial by the way.
Thanks for any thoughts and advices!

Pretty good O/C. Try this site for a tweak guide for 3D2001;

What are the best programs to benchmark video cards? I know of 3dMark2000 and 2001, but are there any others? I get 8000-11000 in 2000 and about 4300-5000 in 2001. The lower are the 1024*768*32 marks and the higher are the 640*480*16 marks. I find them kind of low though, maybe it's just me. I heard some people getting near or a little over 6000 with a GF2Ti in 3dMark2001
Mostly every tips included in the sites Da Whip mentioned is already done on my system to optimize 3dMark 2001 by the way.
Thanks,
Eric

an excellent (but little known one) is VulpineGL Mark
It's a very large download, but spectacular.
http://www.computerchannel.de/download/dl_detailseite3_db.phtml?progid=14242 and click where it says "Download Freeware"
It is a tad over 56megs..........

VulpineGl would not run in full screen mode (my monitor tells me refresh out of range) so i had to run it in a 800*600 windows and got 48.1 FPS average. I also ran 3DMark200x and got the following results:
2000 Default: 10,297
2000 1024X768X32: 7,948
2000 640X480X12: 11,990
2001 1024X768X32: 4,538
2001 640X480X16: 5,810
I took some snap shots of them (but not of great quality, took with Kodak Imaging that comes with Windows).

Would upgrading to Windows XP give me more performance in real-world (i.e. not only benchmarks but also games and office productivity) than Windows 2000?
Eric

Well, i just upgraded to Windows XP and my scores are up. In 1024*768*32 i now get 5790 and 6989 in 640*480*16. I even overclocked it to 325/525 and got 7036 in 640*480*16 but it wasn't stable enough.
